Dr. Anas Alshishani, a Jordanian professor, scientist, and entrepreneur, brings over two decades of expertise in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical testing, and quality assurance. He serves as a Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Zarqa University and is the Co-Founder and CEO of PharmaPrimes Laboratories, a leading contract research and analytical testing organization based in Amman, Jordan. He is also the Co-Founder of Resonance Research Lab , the first and sole producer of chemical reference standards for pharmaceutical companies in Jordan, and the Co-Founder and former Manager of the Pharmaceutical Research Center at Zarqa University.

Dr. Alshishani earned his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with a specialization in Separation Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His research focused on developing innovative microextraction techniques and applying green analytical chemistry to complex sample analysis. His academic excellence earned him the USM Fellowship and multiple honors during his M.Sc. and B.Sc. studies.

With an H-Index of 10 on Scopus and more than 20 published scientific works, Dr. Alshishani is widely recognized for his scientific impact and contributions to analytical research. His work covers genotoxic impurity determination, forced degradation studies, and the investigation of pharmaceuticals as emerging contaminants.

In academia, he has taught and supervised numerous projects in Drug Quality, Drug Analysis and Characterization, and Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry. In the industry, he previously served as Analytical Research Department Manager at Dar Al-Dawa Pharma and continues to consult widely on laboratory quality systems, method validation, and regulatory compliance.

He has contributed his expertise to the Validation Committee at the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) and served as Technical Director for the Pharmaceutical Research Unit (PRU). His consultation and leadership focus on implementing international best practices aligned with GLP, ISO/IEC 17025, and ISO 17034.

Dr. Alshishani’s technical mastery spans LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, HPLC, and CE systems, with deep experience in impurity profiling, HPLC troubleshooting, and analytical method development. Through PharmaPrimes and Resonance Research Lab, he continues to advance analytical science and quality assurance in the Middle East—bridging academia and industry to foster excellence, innovation, and global regulatory alignment.
