Aggie Szabó is a senior laboratory and minerals testing leader driving the growth and modernization of Bureau Veritas’ Minerals Services (BVMS) operations in Saudi Arabia. As General Manager for BVMS KSA, she oversees the expansion of the Kingdom’s minerals testing footprint, strengthening laboratory capability, quality, and compliance to support Saudi Arabia’s rapidly advancing mining sector. In her regional role as Growth Leader for Metals & Minerals across the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa, she leads strategic development initiatives that align with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals for resource diversification and industrial excellence.
Before taking on her leadership role in Saudi Arabia, Aggie held several senior positions within Bureau Veritas, including Business Development and Sales Director and Business Development Manager in Western Australia, where she drove significant market growth, client partnerships, and laboratory performance across key commodities.
Her earlier career includes nearly a decade with Intertek in Australia, where she served as Projects Coordinator and Laboratory Superintendent for major mining operations, leading automated mine-site analytical labs and managing production, quality, and sampling programs for large-scale metallurgical facilities. She began her career with SGS as an Organics Laboratory Team Leader and XRF Technician, building a deep technical foundation in analytical methods and materials testing.
Aggie brings extensive expertise in laboratory automation, mineral assay operations, quality management, and commercial strategy—a Laboratory Leader driving modern, high-performance testing infrastructure that supports sustainable growth in the global minerals sector.
