Umara Ardra (Ara) is a passionate data driven Indonesian professional business executive, former management consultant and investor. Umara’s wide range of business industry interests includes food & beverages, retail, technology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, technology start-ups, consumer, music, power, energy & telco. Umara have worked directly with and mentored by prominent business executives such as Vico Lomar, Didit Ratam, Victor Fungkong, Claudia Lauw, Rosita Sinaga, Bowo Suhardjo & Steve Aditya. Umara is currently pursuing his EMBA degree in Alliance Manchester Business School, he also holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from The University of Indonesia in International Monetary Economics and has a study abroad certificate in Quantitative Economics from The University of Leicester. He is also a former Macro Economics lecturer in the Economics Faculty of The University of Indonesia. Umara co-founded Sehati TeleCTG Medical Technology Group, the first IoT based medical technology start-up in Indonesia that provides a world-class technology based maternal health solutions for emerging countries and have been highly regarded by The Indonesian government, World Bank, UNDP, Women’s World Banking and other excellent institutions through numerous program partnerships. Umara has also been appointed to represent Sehati Group to be included in the GnB Accelerator Program (Fenox & Infocom), Impact Aim Program (UNDP & 500 Start-ups) & Endeavor Indonesia. After 6 years of focusing his professional career in the professional services industry as a business and management consultant in Accenture, Euromonitor International and Deloitte, having served various multinational and local clients within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical devices, FMCG, industrials, telco and power industry. His last position held was as Deloitte Indonesia’s Clients & Industry Leader, where he was responsible to manage Deloitte Indonesia's firmwide revenue planning and business strategy which includes a KPI to ensure Deloitte Indonesia's sales reaches the revenue target given by Deloitte Global. In January 2022, Umara was appointed as the Group CFO of Fore Coffee Group. Umara is also active in numerous organizations, such as ILUNI FEBUI, APACMed, KADIN, HIPMI, ILUNI UI, Healthtech.id & Deutscher Lehrer Kolleg as he was awarded a full scholarship for a Summer program in 2010 by Goethe Institut. A passionate sportsman at heart, Umara was the club captain of Chelsea FC’s Indonesia Youth Football Club and have represented the club for tournaments in the APAC region.
