Steven Chong is a former Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and was founding Chair of the MIA Digital Economy Taskforce, Digital Technology Implementation Committee (DTIC), and Adjudication Chair (Public Practice) for the inaugural MIA Digital Technology Adoption Awards. In 2025, he received an appointment from the Minister of Higher Education as a member of the Ministry of Higher Education CEO @ Faculty Programme for Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He is Managing Partner of Morison LC PLT, part of Morison Global, ranked the 9th largest professional service association internationally. He founded LedgerBrains, a regional technology startup that won top 3 at the 2019 Petronas FutureTech program. Steven is an ACA and BFP of the ICAEW (UK), Alumni & Member of ICAEW F-TEN® Asia, and two Master’s degree holder from Victoria University, Australia.
