As the founder and Managing Partner of BusinessDistrict, Lydia sees a need to move beyond transactional accounting services to become a true strategic partner for her clients. Her vision is to help businesses save money, streamline operations, and unlock government incentives while providing the comprehensive back-office support that growing companies need to succeed.  Lydia believes it is essential that accountants understand the commercial realities of the sectors in which they work. Throughout her 18 years career, she has worked with startups, SMEs, and established enterprises across diverse industries, providing not just compliance services but fractional CFO expertise and M&A guidance. She regularly advises companies on exit strategies, helping business owners optimize their opportunities and maximize their asking price.  A Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Accounting from Monash University, Lydia has built BusinessDistrict on the principle that when clients grow, the firm grows alongside them. She has impacted thousands of clients throughout her career, with hundreds of satisfied customers currently benefiting from her team's expertise.  Lydia founded BusinessDistrict in 2020 after leaving a mid-size traditional accounting firm to create what she calls the "right district" for business owners - a destination where they can access everything from basic compliance to strategic CFO guidance under one roof.
