Peter Francis MD PhD, CSO & CMO of Ray Therapeutics, is an experienced biotechnology executive and an ophthalmologist clinician-scientist with expertise in ophthalmic genetics and retinal disease. He has almost two decades of working in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries where he has led several gene therapy products from discovery through clinical development. Previously, he served as CMO of RetroSense Therapeutics and CMO and CSO at 4DMT. Peter is a member of the Macula Society and the American Ophthalmological Society. He has held academic faculty positions at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London and Casey Eye Institute, OHSU, Portland, OR and has published approximately 100 peer-reviewed articles.
