Jacob Keller, MHA, currently serves as Director of Oncology Operations at the Duke Cancer Institute. In this capacity, he oversees all inpatient and outpatient oncology services across Duke Cancer Institute sites in Durham County. He also serves as Director of Duke’s Cell & Gene Therapy Program, providing administrative leadership for the Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT), Cellular Therapy, and Gene Therapy service lines for both adult and pediatric patients within the Duke University Health System. Jake began his career at Duke Health in 2020 as an Administrative Fellow at Duke University Hospital. In 2022, he joined the Duke Cancer Institute as Administrative Director for Hematologic Malignancies and Blood & Marrow Transplantation. Over the past three and a half years, his portfolio expanded to include administrative responsibility for inpatient oncology operations, the Cell & Gene Therapy Program (inclusive of pediatrics), and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) team. In September 2025, he was appointed Director of Oncology Operations, expanding his leadership to include these new responsibilities alongside his previous portfolio. Prior to joining Duke, he served as a Global Program Coordinator for Operation Smile, managing international surgical programs. He has also held the role of Program Administrator in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the George Washington Medical Faculty Associates. He earned a Master of Health Care Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Charleston.
