Dr. Julia Appelskog is Head of QPPV Office and PV Intelligence at CSL, with over 24 years of experience in global pharmacovigilance.
She leads strategies to enhance regulatory compliance, optimize PV processes, and drive the adoption of AI in drug safety. She has served as EU QPPV at Novavax, TFS, and Bluefish Pharmaceuticals, and previously led PV QMS Policy and Strategy at Merck KgA. Dr. Appelskog holds a PhD from Karolinska Institute and is an active contributor to AI governance initiatives, including collaboration with the EMA AI Office.
