Mr. Abdul Rahim hails from the Silicon City of India – Bangalore – and has been a prominent figure in the healthcare IT industry since 2001. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and developing a range of solutions, including safety databases, risk detection systems, and management tools, guiding them from inception through to full production lifecycle.

He was part of the team behind the start-up venture ‘MedSight,’ which laid the foundation for the next-generation integrated risk management solution ‘MedSight Sapphire’ using Big Data. This innovation eventually led to its acquisition by ARIS Global.

His current venture, ALWIS Solutions Limited is focused on transforming pharmacovigilance and safety operations through automation and artificial intelligence. Under his leadership, ALWIS has developed several cutting-edge products, including:

• ReTrans Enterprise – an AI/ML-powered automated monitoring solution,
• ReGenX – a seamless platform for regional and local literature surveillance,
• ZiCapPro – an intuitive eCRF solution for clinical data capture, and
• ZiSmart – a comprehensive suite for managing intake operations across literature, social media, safety, and quality domains.
