Sanjay Vyas is the President of Global Safety Services & Clinical Logistics and also the Country Head / Managing Director for India at Parexel. In this role, he is responsible for the company's global drug safety and pharmacovigilance services, as well as clinical trial supplies & logistics operations, including its six global clinical supply distribution centers. He also sets the strategic direction and provides the leadership and vision to grow Parexel India's Global Capability Center and operations, which includes 6,000+ employees across more than 12 functions, ranging from core clinical, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory functions to shared services including HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, and Contracts. Sanjay brings to the role nearly 25 years of experience in effectively managing global and regional profit and loss in life sciences and other service industries. Having lived and worked in 7 countries across 4 continents, his expertise includes driving innovative strategies, optimizing global supply chains, applying innovation and technology solutions in pharmacovigilance, sales and marketing, driving mergers and acquisitions, including operations and people management in varied service industries. Prior to Parexel, Sanjay was Vice President, Life Sciences and Healthcare APAC for DHL responsible for managing the Global Logistics & Supply Chain business for life science and healthcare customers across all DHL business units within APAC. He also served as a member of the DHL Life Sciences and Healthcare Board. Sanjay completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He earned a Master of Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Economics from Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce. He also holds a Professional Diploma in Software Technology and Systems Management from the National Institute of Information Technology.
