Neşe Devenot, Senior Lecturer, John Hopkins University

Neşe Devenot, PhD (they/them) is a Senior Lecturer in the University Writing Program at Johns Hopkins University. Their scholarship explores the intersections between health humanities, psychedelic bioethics, and comparative literature. Dr. Devenot's psychedelic ethics research has appeared in the Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal, The American Journal of Bioethics, JAMA Psychiatry, the Journal of Psychedelic Studies, and Frontiers in Psychology. They completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Bioethics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and they are currently an Affiliated Researcher with Harvard Law School Petrie-Flom Center's Project on Psychedelics Law and Regulation (POPLAR).
