Jay has overall 17 years of experience with more than 16 years concentrated in Patient safety. Dental surgeon by qualification, he also holds Masters in Clinical research with Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Trial Management.  His wealth of exposure includes Risk Minimisation, Medical Safety, Alliance Management and QPPV oversight. As a truly global professional, he was acting as EU-QPPV at London UK as his one of the stint, wherein he was supporting global Generics, Biologics & orphan products companies to cater the overall Pharmacovigilance (PV) need. Per his last deputation, he was leading Medical Safety (RMP/REMS/aRMM, Aggregate Reports & Signal Management) and QPPV oversight (PSMF, QPPV Support office) for various EU/US projects. Jay has been a speaker at various national/international conferences on various drug safety & Risk Minimisation measures. He is a Member of ISPE, ISoP and DIA. At COD Research, Jay works as Technical Director- Patient Safety, Risk Minimisation & RA to support developmental pharma- biotech companies in designing safe medicines.
