Takuya Yamamoto is General Manager of New Business Development at KDDI Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. He focuses on exploring investment and collaboration opportunities with mobile network operators, digital service providers, and digital infrastructure players across Southeast and South Asia.

With over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Takuya has extensive experience in strategy development, M&A, and business growth. Prior to his current role, he was Senior Manager in KDDI’s Global Consumer Business Development Department, driving strategic alliances and market entry projects in Southeast Asia. He also managed an MVNO business in the US for over four years, overseeing strategic planning, service development, and operational management.

Takuya holds a Bachelor of Laws from Ritsumeikan University.
