Steven Dick | Director, Technology Strategy & Solution Broadband, APAC

Steve is a Technical Director for the Broadband Business Unit for Asia Pacific (APAC) at CommScope, where he is responsible for broadband technology, strategy and solutions development across APAC. 

At CommScope, Steve’s primary focus is to drive innovation in broadband networks, fiber-optic infrastructure, and next-generation connectivity solutions across the APAC region, including working with customers/stakeholders to understand their needs, anticipate challenges and deliver effective solutions. With over 30 years of experience in telecommunications and broadband infrastructure, he has played a key role in advancing fiber, GPON, and xDSL deployments.

Prior to joining CommScope in 2017, Steven worked at TE Connectivity and NEC Australia, where he has held roles such as Field Application Engineering Manager, System Engineering Manager and Project Manager over a 25-year tenure. His expertise spans pre-sales and post-sales engineering, tender and bid management, and large-scale network deployments, including managing the integration of NEC’s DSLAMs into Telstra’s infrastructure.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Swinburne University of Technology.
