Colonel Sanpachai Huvanandana is the President of National Telecom (NT), Thailand, leading the state-owned telecommunications provider in developing national digital infrastructure, expanding broadband connectivity, and advancing 5G, cloud, and satellite communications.
With a strong background in electrical engineering and telecommunications policy, Colonel Sanpachai has played a key role in spectrum management and national security telecommunications. He previously served as Secretary of the Spectrum Management Committee for National Security Telecommunications and Radio Communication at the Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), contributing to Thailand’s regulatory framework for spectrum allocation and digital transformation.
In addition to his leadership in the telecom sector, he is an Assistant Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, where he has contributed to academic research and technology development.
Colonel Sanpachai holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, U.S.A., and a Bachelor of Science from Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy. He has also completed executive programs, including the Director Certification Program (DCP), Financial Statements for Directors (FSD), and Audit Committee Program (ACP) at the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD), as well as the Chief Executive Program at the Capital Market Academy (CMA), Class 22.
