Nitin Anand is a seasoned digital and fintech executive with over 20 years of experience scaling telecom and mobile financial services across Asia and Africa. As Director of Digital & Fintech at Ooredoo Myanmar, he leads the company’s digital transformation, overseeing 50%+ of company revenue through innovations in mobile apps, payments, personalization, and digital platforms.

Since joining Ooredoo in 2020, Nitin has scaled the My Ooredoo App to 2.5 million monthly active users, launched AI-powered engagement tools, revived the mobile money business with 3M+ active users, and introduced credit innovation, QR payments, and omnichannel martech systems. His leadership blends product engineering with growth strategy and agile execution.

Before Ooredoo, Nitin held senior roles with Airtel Africa, DiGiSPICE, and Smile Telecom, where he drove data monetization, customer lifecycle management, and fintech expansion. He also co-founded a blockchain-based remittance platform.

Nitin holds an MBA in Marketing from Punjab University and has completed executive education in Strategy at Harvard. He is certified in Six Sigma Black Belt and Leadership Development, and is known for building high-impact, cross-functional teams that deliver growth at scale.
