Mr. Melvin Jeffrey Chan is currently the Senior Vice President and Head of IoT (Internet of Things) under Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison of Indonesia. In his current role, he is responsible for innovation, product development, consulting, presales, solutioning, strategy, practice build, business development and ecosystem management across IOH (Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison) IoT and M2M portfolio.
 
Melvin has over 22 years of professional experience including several leadership roles in information technology and telecommunication industry across functional domains such as Sales, Presales, Operations, Business Development, Product Management, Product Development, Strategy, Consulting, Innovations and R&D, and geographically across Asia, North America, Africa and Europe. He is fluent in multiple key Asian languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, and Filipino.
 
Melvin obtained his Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering & Management Degree from the De La Salle University (graduated cum laude, top of the class) in the Philippines and his Master of Electronics Engineering degree from The University of Tokyo in Japan through a full time scholarship from Panasonic.
