Khoo Kang Wei is the Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture at CelcomDigi, where he leads the strategic planning and execution of technology initiatives to position the company as Malaysia's leading telecommunications provider. With over 17 years of experience in the telecom industry, he specializes in 5G, network evolution, and technology transformation.

In his current role, Khoo is responsible for shaping CelcomDigi’s technology vision, overseeing network integration following the merger of Celcom and Digi, and driving advancements in 5G, cloud, AI, automation, and network-as-a-service (NaaS). His leadership ensures the delivery of innovative and customer-centric solutions while optimizing operational efficiency.

Prior to joining CelcomDigi, Khoo held senior positions at Celcom Axiata, Maxis, Telekom Malaysia, and Telenor Group, where he played a key role in network strategy, 5G deployment, and digital transformation. He has also contributed to national 5G initiatives through Malaysia’s regulatory bodies.

Khoo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering from Multimedia University. He is a multilingual professional fluent in English, Malay, Chinese, Cantonese, and Norwegian, and is recognized for his expertise in telecommunications, 3G, LTE, and network architecture.
