Junaid Ahmed is Manager of Core Network at stc Bahrain, where he leads the planning and design of next-generation connectivity across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G SA/NSA technologies. With over 15 years of experience in the telecom sector, his expertise spans voice and data core services, IMS (VoLTE/VoWiFi/VoNR), IoT, and M2M solutions.

Prior to his current role, Junaid held senior core network positions at stc Bahrain and Huawei Technologies, managing end-to-end network projects, vendor relationships, and network performance optimization. He began his career as a Core Network Engineer at Telenor Pakistan.

Junaid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecom) from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology and is recognised as a Top-25 Telecom Thought Leader by Thinkers360.
