Ishari Siriwardane is the General Manager of Digital Transformation Projects at Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), where she leads the company’s digital strategy and project implementation across consumer, SME, and enterprise segments. With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, she has held multiple leadership roles across engineering, enterprise solutions, and digital transformation.

In her current role since 2019, Ishari oversees the design and development of digital platforms and smart solutions that drive new revenue streams and accelerate SLT’s internal transformation agenda. She has also managed several national-level initiatives in support of Sri Lanka’s broader digitalisation goals.

Previously, she served as Deputy General Manager of Enterprise Solutions, where she was responsible for developing integrated ICT offerings for enterprise customers, and as Deputy General Manager of Enterprise Sales, managing SLT’s engagement across key verticals including banking, healthcare, education, and hospitality.

An accomplished engineer and business strategist, Ishari holds a BSc in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, an MBA from the University of Colombo, and a Professional Master’s in Business Analytics and Digital Transformation from the Asian Institute of Technology. She is also a certified practitioner in Agile leadership, AI in digital transformation, and open digital frameworks.

Ishari is an award-winning contributor to the field, recognised with accolades including the Women Leadership Award, the SmartHive xG Best Moonshot Catalyst Project, and Best Research Paper at the 21st International Conference on Business Management (2025). She currently shares her expertise as a visiting lecturer at the University of Moratuwa and Nebula Institute of Technology.
