Gopi Kurup is the Chief Executive Officer of Axiata Enterprise, leading Axiata Group’s enterprise, international, and wholesale business across five markets in South and Southeast Asia. Under his leadership, Axiata Enterprise delivers a comprehensive suite of fixed, mobile, managed security, cloud, and international services, driving digital transformation and business growth in the region.

With over two decades of experience in telecommunications, technology, and digital strategy, Gopi has held leadership roles across major global firms. Prior to joining Axiata, he was Managing Director for Communications, Media & Technology at Accenture, where he focused on market development and B2B growth strategies across Asia Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Turkey. He also served as CEO of TM R&D and TM ONE Product Management at Telekom Malaysia, where he spearheaded innovation and product development for enterprise and public sector markets.

Gopi has extensive expertise in digital transformation, analytics, cloud, security, and smart services. He has a proven track record of driving product innovation, operational excellence, and business optimization, fostering a culture of change and innovation in multi-disciplinary teams.

He holds a Ph.D. in Next Generation Data Networks from Monash University, an MSc in Microwaves & Optoelectronics and a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronics from UCL, and has completed an Executive Education Program on Driving Strategic Innovation at MIT Sloan School of Management.
