Erik Kvarvåg is the Chief Security Architect for Global Business Security at Telenor Asia, responsible for developing and maintaining security policies, target architectures, and technical frameworks across Telenor’s business units, which serve over 207 million customers in 8 markets. With over 29 years at Telenor, he has extensive experience in IT infrastructure, network security, and cloud security.

Prior to his current role, Erik held several senior positions at Telenor, including Chief Architect for IT Infrastructure & Cloud Platform Security, Senior IT Infrastructure Architect, and Network Architect. His expertise includes threat and vulnerability management, enterprise networking, and security architecture. He has played a key role in defining global security strategies, standardizing infrastructure frameworks, and ensuring compliance across multiple business units in Asia and Europe.

Erik holds a background in Information Technology from the University of Oslo and has worked in network administration, system architecture, and cybersecurity strategy throughout his career. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, he continues to drive security innovation and resilience within Telenor’s global operations.
