Robert Fox is Chairman of the Digital Economy/ICT Group at EABC and Policy Coordinator for JFCCT. He advises on trade, investment, and digital economy policy across Asia and runs a regional consulting business. A former Group CEO of a major Malaysian telco and Asia-Pacific director at BT, he has held leadership roles in telecoms, digital media, and analytics firms, and practiced law with Baker McKenzie.

Bob has shaped policy on data governance, cybersecurity, telecom reform, and digital regulation in Thailand and the region. He is a member of IAPP, a THAC-certified mediator, and a former judge of the Telecom Asia Awards. He holds law and business degrees from UNSW and Stanford, and has been involved in digital and privacy policy since 2012.
