Ben is a seasoned telecommunications executive with over two decades of leadership experience in business development, commercial strategy, and global partnerships. 

Since joining HKBN in 2017, Ben has held key roles driving growth in business development, OTT content, service partnerships, and the MVNO business. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer, he oversees the carrier business and global partnerships, spearheading strategic initiatives to expand HKBN’s market presence. 

Prior to joining HKBN, Ben spent 17 years at SmarTone, where he rose to become General Manager of Roaming and International Operator Relationships. During his tenure, he led cross-functional teams in business development, customer service, international wholesale, and retail marketing.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Ben has played an important role in shaping the telecommunications industry. In 2016, he served as Chairman of GSMA Asia Pacific RIG,  a trade body representing the interests of mobile operators and service providers in Asia Pacific region. In this capacity, he led high-level meetings and conferences, fostering collaboration among industry leaders.

Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and an EMBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
