Dr. Asif Naimur Rashid is the Chief Business Officer at Grameenphone, responsible for driving business strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise growth in Bangladesh’s leading telecom operator. With extensive experience in telecommunications, ICT, and executive leadership, he has held key positions across mobile operators, ICT startups, and telecom equipment manufacturers.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Asif served as CIO at Robi Axiata, where he led IT strategy, digital initiatives, and enterprise architecture. He also worked at Telenor ASA as an IT Strategy Advisor, managing large-scale IT, charging, and value-added services (VAS) industrialization programs, including the launch of Telenor Myanmar. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Grameenphone, Siemens, and Red.Digital, where he was Founding Managing Director.

Dr. Asif is also a Board Director at Sonali Bank Limited and has served on the board of Red.Digital Limited, reflecting his expertise in corporate governance, strategic planning, and technology-driven business growth.

He holds a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of Technology Sydney, an MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University, and has completed executive programs at INSEAD and the National University of Singapore.
