Amit Sinha Roy, VP Global Head of Strategic Alliances, Tata Communications

Amit Sinha Roy is Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances at Tata Communications, where he leads the company’s global ecosystem partnership strategy, focused on driving co-innovation and go-to-market collaboration with leading technology OEMs. His work spans the development of joint business opportunities in managed security, next-generation networks (SD-WAN, SASE, SSE), and unified communications, across markets in India, APAC, the Americas, Europe, and MECAA.

With over three decades of experience in the ICT industry, Amit has held leadership roles in marketing, sales, alliances, and business strategy at Tata Communications, Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Syntel. At Tata Communications, he previously served as Global Head of Marketing & Communications, leading global demand generation, brand, analyst relations, and corporate communications—driving over USD 800 million in sales-qualified pipeline.

Amit has led cross-functional teams worldwide, creating scalable GTM strategies and high-impact programs across enterprise, service provider, and partner ecosystems. He is widely recognized for his contributions to B2B marketing and business development, and was named Economic Times Tech CMO of the Year (2022) and one of VARIndia’s Most Influential CMOs in India.

He holds a Master of Science in Physics and a Master of Management Studies from BITS Pilani, and has completed executive education at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and Singularity University.
