Alyaa Ramlan, Head of Social, Telekom Malaysia

Alyaa Ramlan is the Head of Social at TM, where she leads the company’s social media strategy and operations across TM’s group of brands, including Unifi. With over 17 years at TM, she is responsible for managing a comprehensive social media ecosystem—encompassing marketing, customer experience, analytics, influencer relations, and crisis communication.
Prior to her current role, her earlier roles include leading TM’s digital marketing and communications efforts as Manager and Assistant Manager, as well as overseeing internal communications during her earlier years with the company.

Alyaa is known for her expertise in social media strategy, branding, crisis communication, and customer service engagement, with experience spanning both public relations and social/digital transformation initiatives. She has been recognized as one of Asia’s Woman Leaders by CMO Asia (2022) and was listed among The 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in Asia (2024).

She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from the University of Sunderland and is fluent in Malay and English.
