Matt Hertz is the CEO of Third Person, a leading logistics and supply chain platform focused on helping e-commerce brands discover and connect with 3PLs. With over 15 years experience leading e-commerce operations as an early employee and first operations hire at Rent the Runway, Birchbox and Shyp, Matt is a visionary leader known for his strategic thinking and ability to drive operational excellence. In 2017 Matt founded Second Marathon, a supply chain consultancy that has helped brands like Hexclad, Away, Barkbox, THUMA, Birdies, Milk Bar and dozens of others, optimize their supply chains. In 2024 he launched Third Person, a free digital marketplace that enables e-commerce brands to discover and connect with qualified 3PLs. Matt is an active advisor to startups and angel investor, and lives in Nashville.
