20+ years of experience in R&D, project, and portfolio management in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on genetic and genomic biomarkers, associated assay technologies, and genomic therapeutic modalities. My core competencies include research project, portfolio management, biomarker R&D, and deep expertise in genetic and genomic technologies and therapeutic modalities (siRNA, vectors). Since 2020, I am a Senior Principal Scientist and Deputy Head of Genetics & Genomics / People Coach at Roche Pharmaceutical Sciences in Basel. I completed my PhD thesis from 1996-2000 at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biochemistry and earned an MSc. in Drug Research and Management from 2011-2014 from the Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation.
