Ronnie R. Wei, PhD, MBA is a biopharmaceutical executive with nearly 20 years of experience in biologics discovery and early-stage drug development, specializing in oncology, immune-oncology, and infectious diseases. She currently leads Biologics Discovery and Development at ModeX Therapeutics, where she helped define the company’s R&D strategy, culminating in its acquisition within 18 months. Dr. Wei has advanced multiple multispecific antibody platforms from concept to IND, with programs now progressing into clinical trials. Her prior roles at Sanofi, Dragonfly Therapeutics, and Genzyme have spanned scientific innovation, platform development, and strategic collaborations. Dr. Wei earned her PhD in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology from Indiana University, an MBA from Boston College, and a B.Sc. from Tsinghua University. She is a named inventor on numerous patents and an author of high-impact publications in oncology biologics.
