Johnny is a seasoned IT professional with over 40 years of experience in the field.  His last employment work was at the largest broadcasting and media company in the Philippines, ABS-CBN, as its Chief Information Officer.  Upon early retirement, he has been involved in various IT consulting engagements focusing on digital transformation, education technology and strategic management.  He is also involved in the start-up ecosystems providing advise through several technology business incubators in various universities as well as teaching lean start-up concepts to various start-ups.  He recently joined PHINMA Education Holdings, Inc. to become their Chief Project Director for Student Information Systems, responsible for rolling out their new SIS based on the RF Campus product of MasterSoft.  They are in the final phase of the project with just 2 more universities, out of the total 10 entities, still needing to be rolled out.  He is also being groomed to assume the role of Chief Data Officer for the organization with responsiblities for building their data platform and establishing different business and implementation strategies for the institution to become more data-driven in all aspects of school and business operations as well as exploring and adopting AI-related intiatives within the organization.
