Dr. Chailerd Pichitpornchai has been appointed as the Director of Institute for Innovative Learning since 2018, as the Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University since 1986. He earned a Medical Degree from Mahidol University, and a Ph.D. (Medicine) and a postdoctoral research fellow (Medical Informatics) from Monash University, Australia. He has been the international assessor of AUN-QA since 2008, and also earned a Senior Fellow of UKPSF in 2022. His expertise is in cognitive neuroscience investigating learning and memory, quality education, and speed reading, using electroencephalography and eye-tracking system. He has implemented Physiology e-Learning System, online e-Book system at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University (as the President of the university in 2013-2016), and i-Learning Clinic in 2018. He can program 15 computer languages and speak 12 languages.
