Demetri Rico | CEO

Demetri Rico is the CEO of CTTI (Centre for Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Government of Catalonia) since January 2025. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from La Salle. He has completed several international master's programs, including the Global Executive MBA and the Executive Development Programme at IESE Business School, as well as a master's degree in Information Technology Management from Ramon Llull University.
With over 30 years of experience in the ICT sector, he began his career at RACC. Since then, he has held executive leadership roles in multinational companies in Europe and globally, such as PwC Spain, Retevisión, AUNA, Gedas, T-Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Huawei, and Flexxible, where he served as global CEO.
His professional career combines expertise in operations, strategic project management and sales, along with extensive experience in building and transforming companies, business units, and organisational areas, with a strong focus on digital and business transformation.
