The UK's digital economy is celebrated across the world for its dynamism and innovation. In 2018 alone,
software development and programming businesses were incorporated at Companies House.
These startups play a vital role in Connected Britain, as they enable development of new products and services to improve people's lives, increase efficiency, and deliver on the promise of always-on connectivity.
Connected Britain provides a unique environment for startups to meet VCs and Investors looking for early-stage opportunities and scale-ups, as well as to network with companies across government, telecoms, IoT and the wider ICT sector.
2020 will also see the introduction of the Startup Stage, where you can hear short presentations on the cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping the connectivity landscape. Key themes will include Smart Cities, IoT, GovTech, Cloud, Digital Infrastructure, and Data Management.
At a cost of only £500, startups who fit our criteria will be given a 1m² exhibition space in the Startup Britain Village, a 10 minute presentation slot, online and onsite branding, and up to four event passes.
Any startup that currently has revenues of less than £2 million, was set up after 2016, and has limited funding, is able to apply.
