Tara Jussa, Digital Inclusion Officer, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority

Tara Jussa is the Digital Inclusion Officer at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and has over 30 years of experience of working in community education, engagement, and digital empowerment. Since the early 2000’s, she has championed digital literacy as a key driver of equality, opportunity and wellbeing. Tara is a passionate advocate for inclusive digital skills development, working to remove barriers such as affordability, connectivity, and low confidence.  Her work focuses on supporting residents to build the confidence and capability to engage with digital tools in everyday life – from accessing healthcare and education to securing employment and maintaining social connections. As part of the Combined Authority’s Digital Inclusion team, Tara leads work across the six local authorities to increase digital skills and online engagement, including the delivery of the DSIT funded Login LCR project and Helping You Online guide. With a background in community learning, Tara promotes a person-centred, community-led approach that builds trust and delivers practical support – ensuring digital inclusion is accessible, relevant and empowers residents so no one is left behind.
