Rick Seemann is the VP of Product Management at Sonar Software, where he leads the strategic direction of the platform and focuses on how Sonar connects with the systems, data, and workflows ISPs depend on to operate and scale. He began his career as the first outside hire at a startup ISP, gaining hands-on experience across installations, network engineering, and operations. Over 14 years, he helped scale the company into a mature telecom, culminating in its acquisition by a national provider. Since joining Sonar in 2020, Rick has brought his perspective as a former customer to building products grounded in the real-world needs of ISPs. His work centers on helping broadband providers better connect their systems, leverage their data, and adopt AI-enabled workflows to improve operations, support scalability, and reduce friction. Rick is also a regular co-host of the Bandwidth podcast, where he challenges conventional thinking through candid conversations on leadership, culture, and what it takes to build an ISP that actually works.
