Michelle began her consulting work in January 2024 under the new LLC, N-Sights Consulting.   To date, her clients have included a national health care insurance plan; a national real estate advocacy organization, a national affordable housing syndicator; a housing finance agency; an Ohio-based non-profit focused on older adults and her former firm, National Church Residences.   Prior to beginning her consulting firm, Michelle had a 30-year career with National Church Residences.    Her most recent role was Executive Vice President of External Affairs & Strategic Partnerships.   In that role, Norris guided the organization's mission towards greater focus, impact and investment.   Her primary responsibilities included the expansions and impact of the National Church Residences' mission in core markets, public policy and public relations.  Norris joined National Church Residences in 1993 as Director or Corporate Financial Services.   She later became Chief Operating Officer of Housing Management, overseeing the management operations of the organization's affordable housing portfolio.   She was later promoted to Chief Development Officer, overseeing the team that specializes in development of all new National Church Residences communities, including HUD 202 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit new construction, acquisitions and substantial rennovations.  She served as President of National Church Investment Corp from 2014 to 2018. Norris currently serves as chair of the board for the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH).   She is immediate past chair of the Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF).   Michelle has served on the boards of Leading Age Ohio and National Affordable Housing Trust.  She has also served as past president of the Ohio Housing Council and past president of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).   Norris holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. In addition to her work in affordable housing, Ms Norris enjoys running, hiking, and other outdoor activities.   She is also an active member of the Vineyard Church of Columbus.
