Lan Fullerton | Senior Attorney
Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP

Lan Fullerton, Senior Attorney, Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP

Lan Nguyen Fullerton is a Senior Attorney with over a decade of experience representing landlords across California. Known for her sharp regulatory instincts and litigation acumen, Lan has built a practice centered on helping multi-family operators stay ahead of an increasingly complex legal landscape. Lan's work goes well beyond traditional landlord/tenant matters. She regularly counsels property owners and operators on the full spectrum of legal obligations that define modern multi-family operations — from applications to lease drafting, fee transparency requirements, utility billing structures, local ordinances, and the legal frameworks governing technology and smart building services offered to residents. As broadband connectivity and PropTech solutions become standard services in multi-family housing, Lan has developed a keen understanding of the legal considerations surrounding in-building services provided to residents, resident-facing technology disclosures, and the compliance obligations that accompany them. Her litigation background — spanning civil court, jury and bench trials, appeals, administrative hearings, mediations, and arbitrations - giving her a practical, solutions-oriented approach to even the most complex compliance and regulatory challenges. Lan earned her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law as a Dean's Merit Scholar, with Certificates of Specialization in Real Estate Law and Litigation. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers "Rising Star", a distinction reserved for just 2.5% of attorneys in Northern California, and named to San Francisco Magazine's Top Women Attorneys in Northern California.
