Hello! My name is Kirsten Kampmeier, and I am a GIS Data Analyst with rural non-profit, Bastrop County Cares. My work focuses on geospatial analysis, interactive mapping, and community-centered data collection. Through the Bastrop County Broadband Internet Task Force, our team synthesized and analyzed connectivity and demographic data to identify more than 10,000 underserved and unserved residences across the county. Using ArcGIS Pro and field-collected cellular data, I contributed to mapping and presentation efforts that supported more than $55 million in BOOT II broadband funding for Bastrop County. My background also includes municipal GIS work with the City of Pflugerville and prior experience managing operations on an organic vegetable farm, which has given me a practical, people-focused perspective on technical problem solving.
