Jordana Barton-Garcia is an expert in South Texas regional economic development as well as the digital economy. She is Director of the Texas Rio Grande Valley Broadband Coalition with Connect Humanity, a broadband fund. She has successfully worked with local governments in the planning and financing of public broadband, including with the Texas border community of Pharr. In 2025, she was named among the 7 Women in the US Transforming the Broadband Industry and Driving Digital Inclusion by CNET. She holds an MPA from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
