Eric is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Lead For America (LFA), a role he assumed after wrapping up an MBA/M.Ed program at Stanford in 2022. In this role, he wears a different hat each day, tackling a range of projects that span partnerships, development, operations, and more. His ultimate objective is to sustain and scale LFA's primary national service program, the American Connection Corps. Eric's roots are surprisingly far from the rural prairie - he was instead raised in the concrete jungle of New York City. But he's always harbored an authentic curiosity toward communities so different from where he was raised - in fact, country music is about all he listens to - and he eagerly brings the pace, passion, and ambition of New York to help better communities across the country. Eric's career began in the private sector (Deloitte, Google), but he found his call to service when he jumped to the public sector and joined the Texas Education Agency prior to grad school. He's excited to help others find their own homes in service-oriented careers, and if he can find a way to catch some small-town minor league baseball along the way, he'll be a very happy camper:)
