Donald Workman, Co-Founder, Chairman, COO, RTA

Donald Workman is the Co-Founder, Chairman, and COO of Rural Telecommunications of America, Inc. (RTA).  Founded in 2018, RTA brings gigFAST INTERNET® to America’s rural communities.  Seeing the digital divide and the impacts in rural areas, the motivation of closing this gap was the driving force behind the founding and propagation of RTA’s goal; to bring digital equity to all of America, especially in rural areas.  As a serial entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Workman has founded several companies with successful exits prior to RTA.  Additionally, he held Executive Leadership, Management, Sales, and Engineering roles with companies such as IBM, Accenture, Lucent, and Nortel (Bay Networks). As a noted industry stalwart, Mr. Workman was recently selected as one of the Top 20 COOs in the Communication Infrastructure space by Boardroom Media.
