Claire Ward has been with NoaNet for 10 years and currently serves as the Manager of Market Development and Communications. She collaborates with community leaders and stakeholders to develop broadband strategic plans and economic development initiatives prioritizing connectivity and digital equity. Claire has been instrumental in securing over $400 million in grant funding for broadband infrastructure, helping to bridge the digital divide in rural Washington and Oregon. She has also played a key role in supporting the development of operations strategies for multiple greenfield open-access broadband projects. Before joining the telecom space, Claire worked as a mental health counselor. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, bringing a unique, people-centered perspective to her work in broadband advocacy and community engagement.
