I got into the tech sector in 1983 after a brief time as a congressional staffer.  I started by selling telephone systems for Executone before acquiring a franchise.  After pretending to retire, I became the inaugural Director of the West Virginia Office of Broadband.  Today, I advise local governments and nonprofits on broadband projects.
