As the Global Head of Real-World Evidence and Epidemiology at SAS, Sherrine Eid passionately leads a team of over 40 experts in data analysis, biostatistics, and modeling to inform COVID-19 model development and implementation globally. She currently serves as a strategic advisor on 60 global and beacon life science accounts for US commercial and global HLS, and as a partner liaison and developer with five strategic partners in life sciences.
With more than 20 years of experience in RWE, epidemiology, health services research, and clinical trials, Sherrine has a strong background in designing, executing, and interpreting outcomes research, observational studies, population profiles, and burden of illness studies using large datasets such as MarketScan, OPTUM, Symphony Health, and others. She has also collaborated with various stakeholders, including USAID, CDC, Virginia State, pharmaceutical companies, and health networks, on a range of projects covering infectious diseases, population health management, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, maternal and child health, and social marketing. Her mission is to ethically leverage data and analytics to improve health outcomes and inform policy decisions.
