Glenn has three decades of experience in the aviation sector, including senior roles at Emirates, British Airways and IAG, creating and leading their Corporate Venture Capital division. As the Director of Hangar 51, he pioneered a highly successful accelerator, incubator, and venture fund collaborating with start-ups and VCs globally. Glenn is the former chair of the IATA Digital Council (320 international airline members) and oneworld Digital Board. Glenn's responsibilities included serving as IAG's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for the group's information technology strategy.
Glenn is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for IT, Non-Executive Director and Strategic Digital and Business Transformation Leader, bringing over 40 years of cumulative experience in strategy, sustainability, venture building, corporate innovation & digital transformation. He also holds several technology patents and is an active angel investor and non-executive director on several boards.
As a founding Partner in SkiesFifty, Glenn leads the investment process and deal flow pipeline. Glenn is point for the coordination with aviation’s leading industry bodies IATA, IACO and ACI.
Glenn is an international motorcycle rally racer competing in FIA & FIM World Cup cross country rallies and a Tae Kwon-Do Black Belt in his spare time.
