Belinda Jain is Vice President, Customer Experience & Commercial at JFKIAT – the operator of Terminal 4 at JFK International Airport in New York City. As a seasoned industry expert, Jain has more than 20 years of experience leading the development and operations of premium and luxury brands and airports globally, with a proven track record of delivering customer-centric programs. In her role at JFKIAT, Jain is responsible for generating and managing the company’s non-aviation revenues, working with the team and business partners to develop world-class retail, food & beverage, and passenger service concepts, featuring a distinctive ‘New York sense of place’ across T4’s extensive commercial program. She also leads JFKIAT’s customer experience strategy, partnering with stakeholders to enhance T4’s passenger satisfaction, the company’s marketing and public relations efforts, and spearheads innovation within the organization. Jain has been at the forefront of the second major phase of T4’s $1.5B transformation, focusing on reimagining the passenger experience and perfecting the art of travel. Under Jain’s guidance, JFKIAT recently announced a collaboration with HMSHost to bring new, New York-based F&B concepts to T4 in the coming months. This collaboration led to joint-venture partnerships with seven local and diverse airport concessions disadvantaged business enterprise (ACDBE)-certified businesses, which were selected following extensive community outreach. The new culinary experiences coming to the terminal, which will allow passengers to experience the tastes, sights, and sounds of New York City, have provided an opportunity for JFKIAT to work with several small businesses and open gateways for meaningful local investment. In this next phase of the terminal’s transformation, Jain is leading the Terminal North Star program. Through extensive research and collaborative workshops with T4 stakeholders and business partners, this program aligns Terminal 4’s future experience, elevating it to a world-class airport terminal while anchoring T4’s distinct culture.
