Nexus Lab is addressing aviation's 35% climate impact by preventing contrail formation. Contrails are 5 times more effective than CO2 in trapping heat. This issue has come to the attention of the European Union Parliament and Council, leading to their immediate announcement. Starting from January 1, 2025, Member States are required to ensure that each aircraft operator monitors and reports the non-CO2 effects, specifically contrail effects, for every aircraft they operate.

Hence, Nexus Lab has developed an AI SaaS solution for airline companies to avoid contrail formation zones by making proper adjustments to the flight level/route. So far, we have successfully established partnerships with Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Azerbaijan Air Navigation Services (AZANS).
