The GreenTaxi Aerospace Electric Taxi (eTaxi)  System greatly reduce emissions by saving fuel, and has the power to transform the aerospace industry by allowing “Zero Engine Taxi” operations.  The system leverages proven hybrid racing vehicle technologies and an experienced aerospace team incorporating an electric motor drive system on the nose landing gear powered by the existing aircraft auxiliary power unit (APU) electrical output. Recent Cirium Aviation Analytics (Cirium) studies have shown a staggering 5-20% of an aircraft's total fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions for the whole flight cycle occur during taxi operations. The eTaxi system allows for “Zero Engine Taxi” operations reducing ground pollution by 60-85%.
