Dr. Jessica Vernon founded Maisha Meds while a medical student at Stanford. She was on the founding team of IPA/Evidence Action’s Dispensers for Safe Water program—which raised $10M, supported over a million people in East Africa, and was awarded a GiveWell top charity distinction in 2022. She was also on the founding team of startup Lyra Health, and supported new pharmaceuticals as a consultant at McKinsey. A former Fulbright Scholar in South Africa, she received a BA in Economics at Stanford before earning her MD.
